The hotel staff was great for all except the dining. the food was horrible and the service was worse!!! on just the other side they were great. good location

I stayed at the Marriot for a whole week. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, and went way and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. It was very clean, and the rooms were beautiful. The beds were SO comfortable. I recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel is large, its instant proximity to the Metro system is the saving grace. It is also approx. $100/nite cheaper than staying in a chain hotel downtown. Parking is expensive-- $20/night-- but you can also save on food as there are plenty of small, family-style restaurants within a 1-2 blk. walking distance.

While the location is great, this building is not fresh at all and the layout is extremely poor and confusing. It's a series of four buildings built around a center pool area. You'll walk an awful lot, and not even leave the hotel. The elevators are insufficient, with two of four dedicated to service elevators in one area.

Only stay one night, but the alarm clock awaken us 4am in the morning, because the maid forgot to reset it. We complained and got nothing back.
