The breakfast deal
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/14/09
The breakfast which was supposed to be included in the rate was horrendous!!! Every morning during our stay we had to wait 20 mins or more from the time the wait-staff took our orders to the time it was received, even then when the order came it was wrong. Waiting for breakfast one morning we saw a total of 11 persons leave their tables due to the ...
I stayed at the Marriot for a whole week. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, and went way and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. It was very clean, and the rooms were beautiful. The beds were SO comfortable. I recommend this hotel.

Great weekend Getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/07
This hotel was in a great location. I was not sure prior to getting there because I wanted to be in Georgetown. What a pleasant surprise to see that Georgetown is a short walk or ride over the bridge. In addition we were able to catch the metro a few blocks from the hotel. Upon our arrival we asked for a room with a view, they gave one to us that ...

Great Place to Save $ in Luxury in D.C.!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
Although the hotel is large, its instant proximity to the Metro system is the saving grace. It is also approx. $100/nite cheaper than staying in a chain hotel downtown. Parking is expensive-- $20/night-- but you can also save on food as there are plenty of small, family-style restaurants within a 1-2 blk. walking distance. The dining room at ...

Fair to Midland
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/26/07
While the location is great, this building is not fresh at all and the layout is extremely poor and confusing. It's a series of four buildings built around a center pool area. You'll walk an awful lot, and not even leave the hotel. The elevators are insufficient, with two of four dedicated to service elevators in one area.

Only stay one night, but the alarm clock awaken us 4am in the morning, because the maid forgot to reset it. We complained and got nothing back.

Bad Circulation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/06
The service was ok, but just average compared to other places I stayed. The one main problem that I experienced was the circulation in the rooms. There wasn't any.
The windows leaked the outside cold air and when you turned the heat on, the moisture in the room would condensate on the window blocking the views from this hotel.

Next time, different hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/06
This hotel is filthy and the management always seems to busy doing everything but tending to the needs of their guests. I was checked in to a dirty room after first getting a key that did not work. (Dead bug in the bathroom sink)
Room service never came, and when I called to speak to the General Manager the next morning, she seemed to care less.
