nothing special, overpricedThe staff were pleasant and the room was perfectly clean, but the place is old and dated so it did NOT feel like a special retreat. We had one of the nicer rooms, with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, but it was faded and drab. Plus, it's almost a mile into the center of town, and NOT a nice walk. Not worth the money.OVERALL

Home from homeWe stayed here for five nights. The staff went beyound helpful for us. The room was homely and clean, the pool was the great. The breakfast is simple but a good selection. Nice stayThis Inn is very clean and pleasant. It is not in downtown Mystic but very close. We used the nice pool (we were the only ones there on a Monday night) and walked to a fabulous Indian place across the street for dinner.

Susan & PatWe stayed at the Taber Inne a few years ago, and I was just looking on line to bring my family here. I am glad to see they are still in business. This Hotel was very clean and the owners were very nice and helpful. We are diffently going to stay here in Aug, 2008. Oh yes the price was just right.

wonderful place to stayGreat place. Excellent and very friendly service. Very clean. Lovely indoor pool. We stayed at the town house with open fireplace jacuzzi and a very spacious living room. nice stay in Mystic, CTClean, comfortable and front desk was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and sights around town. The year-round indoor heated pool is a plus especially when we were there (November). Only complaint is that the walls were a bit thin. It is a kid-friendly place and the family next door was clearly audible.OVERALL

Clean and ComfyThe Taber Inn is one of the best places to stay around Mystic. The kids loved it. The pool was so refreshing and the accomodations clean and comfy. We had called one of the local resturants to get a reservation and couldnt get in till 9 oclock . The Taber staff was able to get us a table at 630 the perfect time for my kids. A superb place to stay in MysticWe stayed in the Cavan House during fall foliage time. It was a super clean room, great bathroom, with wonderfully charming decks. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks with a glass of wine and some cheese and enjoying the beautiful landscaping and people watching.
