The experience was simialr to staying at a very old Motel 6. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, the staff was not very friendly, and the breakfast was inferior to the one I recently had a Holiday Inn Express. Save your money and stay at a chain.

My daughter was recently married in CT and the bridal party stayed at the Old Lyme Inn where we also had the rehearsal dinner. This is in our opinion, the most dark and dank place to go!! Look at your glass before you take a sip, it probably needs to be washed again, the decor is awful - dirty old furniture - no antiques there! Rooms are musty smelling and the service is awful. The "inn keeper" and that term is used very lightly -has no clue. She should not ...
