Needs some helpI had been to the spa 12 years ago and remember it so fondly. At this visit, I found the rooms to be in need of a facelift. The rugs were discolored and the painting was chipped on the woodwork. There was a huge centipede in my bathroom. The spa is beautiful and I had an amazing facial. Glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews!I just stayed there with my boyfriend this past weekend and I'm glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews about this hotel. I thought it was just fine. We were not going to just have a wkend at the spa. We only stayed there because Mohegan was booked and the spa is much cheaper than Mohegan ($250, compared to $480 on wkends). Horrible, filthy, moldy roomI checked into the Spa last Friday night at 11:30 pm for a relaxing weekend stay with my wife. Immediately upon entering my villa I smelled mold/mildew. Within a few minutes I was sneezing and having a reaction to the mold. I then went to the bathroom and noticed the floor was filthy. A wonderful three daysthe service was excellent, the villas cosy and welcoming, and the grounds were lovely. You can schedule as much as you like or just lay back and have a relaxing retreat. Cattle Wearing White Robes...My daughter and I waited four months for an opening! This would make you believe that their service is so outstanding that the wait would be worth it! Sadly, we were not rewarded for our patience.

Going again this yearMy girlfriends and I went away for a girls weekend for relxation and pampering. What a treat. Spa services and attendents were excellent. I was pregnant with my last baby and the prenatal massage was the best ever. A true spa experience. Food was great as well. We are actually going back again this month. The Perfect GetawayTh Spa at Norwich is a great place to get away and relax. The rooms are very comfortable and allow you to feel the ultimate relaxation. They are also extremely clean and are kept that way by the cleaning staff. The Spa services are top notch and the staff is extremely knowledgable and professional.
