What the brochure doesn't tell you is that staff members will barge into your room without knocking! My wife and I retired early because our 7 month old was sick, and as we attempted to go to sleep, the manager on duty opened our door to check to see if our room was flooding (this was during the remnants of Gustav). No knocks, no forewarned ...

We stayed at the Countryside building. The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was very helpful, from recommending places to go and things to do, to replacing the burned out lightbulb.

The only negative for us was the price of the food - it was a little expensive, and a little fancier than we're used to, but it was good, and again, the service was excellent.

We brought our kids up for the School break - great fun in the snow! We went skiing at both Mohawk Mountain and Butternut Basin (both within about 20 minutes or so). Nice rooms, reasonable rates.

I had a very nice experience at the Interlaken Inn. Staff was quite nice, rooms were clean and very pleasant. The restaurant (I don't recall the name) was exceptional. Overall - a really nice time there.

I want to say that the accommodations were excellent. I was very impressed and received outstanding service. Everyone in my church retreat were also extremely pleased. I will be back really soon. I could have taken the new mattress home...(lol). The staff @ Interlaken deserve applause!

We have stayed in the Lakeville area before but never even knew about the Interlaken Inn. It has far more to offer than the other inns, which don't have any recreation available on property.
