One inch gap under the doors in the rooms and even the door between adjacent room. We could hear every sound from the next room and the hall. Cheap bathroom (did they borrow the shower stalls from a truck stop?) Very decieving online, they really paint a different picture compared to what you get. you have to pay to park, wich is not very ...

One of the worst hotel experiences ever
By Dave, 11/01/08
I travel quite a bit across the country and my stay at The Curtis was perhaps as bad as I have dealt with in recent memory. My stay was highlighted by false fire alarms that caused 4 AM evacuations into the chilly Denver night, music pounding up through the floor until after 2AM, razor thin hallway walls which insured that every conversation and ...

no parking?

I came to stay with my whoe family. There are 6 of us and we range from 86-11 years old. We got two rooms.First the pool was being repaired, in the middle of the summer!?! Then, when we were leaving, they charged us for our parking space. Are you kidding me? We drove all the way from Oregon, and the staff was great, but $18.00 a day to park in a ...

Fun stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/07
The themed hotel is loads of fun...and the location is great. We were able to choose which floor to stay on from the various, nostalgic genres. Staff were friendly and helpful. Playful, yet nicely done! Only complaint, the room was a little small...

not worth it

Thought it would be a fun place to stay, but the whole theme hotel thing became a pain after the first couple of hours. Room service was bad, had to go downstairs and pick it up ourselves, and is was over priced.
This hotel was nothing like all the reviews stated. They did not go out of there way to make your stay happy. The room designs were pathetic, the are a non smoking hotel which is fine but there smoking lounge did not have any chairs or even an ash tray. One person said their room service was cheap it was not. And they would not give us a late check ...

Gets you right into town!

Great location; just a few steps away from 16th St. The hotel is a little old-fashioned, but has nice & clean rooms. Plus a very helpful and friendly staff!

Very Good Value

I stayed for 4 nights while on Business in Denver, in a King-bed room. From the outside, the hotel is obviously quite old, but on the inside the place looks well cared-for and recently remodeled. Updated fire alarm systems have been added (and are visible throughout). I would stay here again.
I recommend staying at the Marcs place down the street... same location... same price... better service... clean floors... the room was cramped and smelled like aged cigarette smoke... the tub had rings and i was afraid to shower in it... location was good and the free breakfast menu was nice... other than that i would have given it a one star rating

A good commercial hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/04
The Executive Towers is a cut above the Holiday Inn or Howard Johnson. The little touches like apples and water bottles make the stay pleasant. The staff was exceptionally courteous and friendly. The location was excellent. The breakfast menu was outstanding as was the food.
The fitness room could use more equipment. Housekeeping did not anticipate burnt out light bulbs and tripped heater circuit breakers, but they were speedily repaired.
