Terrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/08
I am a frequent business traveler and recently was subjected to the Burnsley in Denver. Terrible customer service at the front desk and apathetic management lead to a fight for a refund on a prepaid room which was denied. Horrible to feel unwanted in a 5 star hotel, thought I would warn anyone that prefers a friendly customer service when away from home.

Frozen Four
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/08
In Denver April 10-13, 2008 for the NCAA, Frozen Four. Great hotel with a wonderful staff, they were very accommodating at every level. Room was large and very clean. Small kitchen was a plus. Free shuttle and parking also a nice feature.
Would recommend without hesitation. The Burnsley added significantly to a great stay in Denver.

Affordable, friendly, great food in Uptwon Denver. Rooms are huge with kitchens, so great for families or relocation accomodations. In a residential neighborhood, so not a lot of sightseeing in walking distance, but I felt like I was in the "real" city of Denver.

Families Beware!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/06
Our family of four really wanted to stay at this hotel. However, while attempting to make a reservation we found that hotel policy is not very family friendly. In this "all suite hotel" there is no guarantee that you can book a suite that has sleeping accommodations in separate rooms for the parents and the children. The Capitol suite ...
Loved the beautiful suites. The onsite restaurant was exquisite and the piano bar made for a fun end to our evening. One night we have the free shuttle take us around the downtown area. The only bad thing was how one of the elevators was out of service while we were there but it wasn't a big deal. Nice people here.
Loved this hotel because of the kitchenette with full fridge, stove/oven, sink, etc. Your suite is essentially a one or two bedroom apartment, fully furnished. It's pretty nice, and the view is also pretty impressive. The outdoor pool was closed when we were there, which was a bit of a disappointment, though.
liked the convenience of having a mini apartment in a hotel. central yet with the quietness that u wouldnt get in downtown. lovely views. shuttle was a great plus. kitchen was adequate but could have been better

not so good

service was slow and the food was average - staff didn't know anything about downtown area
When I first got there I was simply amazed that a quaint hotel still existed in the heart of Denver. It may not have 500 rooms,or underground parking, yet it had style and flair like no other hotel I have stayed in. My room had that grand ol style of when traveling was filled with luxurious vintage furniture of days gone by, a balcony with a ...
