snow seasonwe stay here prob once a month during the snow season and its great!! we even came in one early morning at 2am and they were still super friendly after us waking them up to get our room key. rooms are great with a little kitchen. no complaints here!!!!0 of 1 Yahoo! Great LodgingWhat a relief to find a family owned place that still cares about the customer. This is not the Hilton or Marriott but it is claean and comfortable and the management tries to attend to all your needs. if of course they do miss something give them a break afterall the are just trying to make it work.3 of 4 Yahoo! Great lodging and skiingWe decided to try June Mountain and couldn't be happier. We found a great little family owned place that has all the ammenities. Shuttle, Continental Breakfast, indoor spa, and walking distance to a great restaurant. What a relief from the crowds at Mammoth.3 of 4 Yahoo! Simply the bestWhat a geat place to stay. Great views, clean comfortable rooms and a shuttle to the ski resort. Continental Breakfast and walking distance to the day spa. Great roomsThis place is the best!!! The Mgr. jeff is always there to help you out i don't think he ever laves the place. Spectacular ViewsWhat a great place!! This is probably one of the nicest places in June Lake and we have been staying in the sierras for years. Fantastic views and clean comfortable rooms. Enough is Really EnoughWe arrived on Friday of Presidents weekend 2006. It was snowing. After checking in we were given directions to our cabin which was up the hill. The Mgr asked if we had our chains on and offered to put them on for us if we didn't. The road was a bit icy but we made it. Our cabin was a Small A Frame for 4 people. The others are wrongAfter reading the other reviews we decided to bite the bullet and give them a try. The only thing we could get was an Aframe which i was skeptical about after having read about the road. What a great family placeWe have stayed at Whispering pines for the last 37 years. The owners have been there longer than that. They will do whatever it takes to make your stay wonderful. Enough is Enough!!!This was my 3rd and last visit to Whispering Pines, each time I was promised that I would receive a refund for the discrepencies that hindered our stay, each time it did not materialize. During two of our stays the owner, Jeff Ronci, said the phone company was coming to fix the inoperative phone, neither time did that happen. Views are incredible ...2 of 4 Yahoo!
