WE have stayed here several times while visiting family and friends in the area. It isn't fancy but has always been clean, comfortable and quiet

First, the good news: The location is good; a decent breakfast restaurant is a couple of blocks away; the BART station is within walking distance.

Now, the bad news: Our room hadn't had much more than a repaint or two since the Nixon administration - yes, it was technically clean, but everthing in the room was old; No internet connection; ...

Its a great place to stay! The price is fair, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and its one of the best locations in town.

Good location, price fairly, fairly clean.
There are better places to choose from, but at a higher cost.
I stayed during a weekday and it was somewhat busy and noisy at night.

Not fancy, but comfortable, clean, convenient location, price was surprisingly reasonable and the staff was VERY accomodating. We hadn't planned to stay over, so we just walked in w/o reservations. Now that our daughter is moving to the area, we expect to go back regularly and will most likely stay here again when we do.

not a 4 1/2 star rated hotel, quoted $50.00 per night, was over $60.00, listed as pet freindly took my pets since quoted but personnel a little on the rude side. would I stay again, no. Noisey and when front desk called to ask if could get the other travelers to calm their children down and not running in front of my door refused.

There is a friendly, family atmosphere. All staff is available and flexible. I have stayed here for 15 years to see my aging mother. I live in Arizona, and it's just like home to me!! Thanks for all your help and amenities!

Friendly, efficient staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very reasonable prices. I have also stayed at the Hillside Inn a few miles away and this place beats it hands down. If you need to be in the Walnut Creek/Lafayette area and are on a budget -- look no further, this is the place. I am in the area two weekends a month and stay here everytime. I enjoy the motel and the friendly staff.

This place is great if you are getting married near by and need somewhere to get ready they will let you pay for a half day here it is great.
