I called ahead of time to find out about the property. We were looking for somewhere with a heated pool. The manager assured me that the pool was open and heated. When we got there, the first thing we did was look at the pool. Not only was it NOT heated, but it was filthy dirty full of cloudy gross looking water, so basically, we were lied to. ...

We stayed here on our trip and we got the family suite.
It was a good price and the kids were in the other room with
their own TV and beds. Sometimes staying in a hotel or motel
with kids can be motel hell, but it was great. The rooms were clean
bathrooms as well and the pool was a added bonus for the kids. Nice
friendly staff. We would stay there again.

The Travelodge in Morro Bay has a good location near the Embarcadero and Morro Rock. The hotel office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-kept. Parking was about average for this type of hotel.
