I've been staying here when I come to Disney each summer. Love all the convient shop front of hotel, like convience store. McDonals; IHOP (pancakes); Dennys, right nearby. Disney just a hop skip or jump away. Like the fact you don't need a shuttle bus to get to the magic kingdom either. The staff is very friendly too. pool leaves alot ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/04/07
Carpets turned your socks black on bottom. Was suppose to be 2 Queen size bed's Delux's room. It was a far cry from delux's. You could hear the people in next room very clear. Had my suitcase on floor by door and table, Went to pick it up and all of the part that touched carpet was soaked from water, including some of my clothes. The ...

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/07
This place is definately one of the cheaper places to stay. The staff was nice, however I was placed in a room where everyone walks by, right next to the restroom and it was quite loud there. If you do stay here, the beds are a little uncomfortable. I loved how we could just walk to the park. I don't think I'll be back though.
Stay here if you need a good bed to sleep in when you're not at the park (which is across the street). Yes, rooms are small but they're clean. The staff was super accomodating. Don't get too excited about the "continental breakfast" but it's nice to grab a piece of fruit or donut on your way to the parks. Drains ...

Good location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/06
The location was good ... the equivalent of about 2-3 blocks walk and you're in the park. The front desk staff members were very nice and helpful. The fact that the rooms had both a microwave and nice sized refrigerator was fabulous! We were able to prepare hot snacks and re-heat leftovers in the room as well as store other snacks to take ...

Didn't even make it there!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/06
I made reservations for this hotel well in advance. I called the day of to find out my room type had been changed without any notice. I requested the King jacuzzi suite, but was told I was booked for a regular king room. I was told that the hotel changed my room by Ramada customer service. However the Hotel would not acknowledege this. Don't ...
The Ramada Inn Maingate is a great location for those vistiting Disneyland! There is plenty of parking spaces and the walk to the Disneyland entrance is no more then 5 minutes. Yeah! The only down side to the parking lot is that the palm trees make a huge mess with there seeds. So my advice is to try and avoid the shade they provide, unless you ...

great trip to California
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/23/05
My family of 4,included a 10 month old and 4 year old and we all had a great time. The first room we had booked was too little to comfortably set up the crib so we upgraded to a two room suite for only $10 more a night! It was well worth it. The larger room includes a microwave and frig.
The pool area is great for littler kids, there is a ...

I like staying here.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/05
Unlike my staying at RAMADA OCEANSIDE,CA.,which was a dissapoint, this hotel is REALLY clean.
This is the firs time I book at Ramada Maingate with my husband and kids and I really like it and enjoy it. The rooms are very very clean and bathroom are big. Close to everything, I like the little stores to shop right here and the convenience store. ...
The Ramada was a nice place in it's time. It seemed to us that it was getting run down. The rooms had that old but not classic smell and the grounds seemed to be going down hill. The positive about the place is that it was within walking distance of Disneyland.
