I book a stay each year here. It's nice, service is good. I never experienced any of the problems others have. I like that it's next to the subway, which is great for getting around.
The location is not bad at all... its a community college area... a very hispanic area and perhaps some people are intimidated by that.
The place was very nice. I had a really good time and theirs good service. We can't wait to go again.

Wonderful Service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/05
I just wanted to take this opportunity to express the woderful service I received on my recent visit to CA. My stay at the Ramada Hollywood was somewhere betwen excellent and outstanding. It was just perfect. My husband and I were observing our 10th anniversay and we wanted to come to Holywood. We were greeted with warmth, hospitality, and ...

Great Place to Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/05
We were more than satisfied with our stay here. It was convenient to all attractions, to transportation, and eating places. The hotel staff was great, the breakfast was more than we could ask for and the rooms were very nice and clean. The extra $9 for parking was worth it. We would stay here again for sure!

Enjoyed Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
I had a business meeting at the Ramada Hollwyood and enjoyed my stay and the courtesied. THe staff as helpful with various directions and helped with sightseeing and bus tours.
Ramada Inn Hollywood must have the mission statement... "Whatever we can do to Inconvenience our guests...WE WILL DO IT!" I felt like a prisoner instead of a guest! Nothing worked right from the TV to the Elevator, the staff must be treated WORSE than the guests because they didn't care about service, eating in your room was ...

Any chance to inconvenience you, this Ramada will.
This Ramada is the worst. A charge of $9.00 per day for guests to park their car, no HBO, the staff is uninformed and uncaring as to the hotels amenities, the swimming pool was inoperable. My stay here was like being in jail. The hotel security guard was sleeping on the job, IN THE LOBBY, at 1:00 am, it took 4 hours for the staff to deliver ...

Keep looking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/05
What a depressing place to stay. The stairwells were locked, the elevators worked sporadically, the rooms were equipped with signs asking you to report rodents and roaches and warning you not to stain the bedspreads. The "deluxe" breakfast was pure carbohydrate and devoid of any fresh fruit, even a banana. To top it off, the bill was wrong. And don't let the concierge book anything for you unless you want to pay a markup.

Want to stay in the bowels of Hollywood?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/05
The hotel is in a horrible location. First of all, it is no where near Universal Studios. Why they would advertise it that way is a mystery. If fact, it's not really near anything. It's in a bad section of town (the bowels of Hollywood would be the best way to describe it) and the street is littered with prostitutes at night! The staff ...
