No complaints. Hotel staff was great you treat them right and they will treat you right. Check in for me over 20 yrs has overall been great, food is great but the general store does not stay open late enough. Going up next week will give and updated review because I know you are all waiting to read what is.
Had a two night stay in March 2008 and what a disappointment. The inn was more motel than hotel. Although the location could be a plus for some due to its proximity to the gondola, I found it too out of the way from where the Mammoth action really thrives in the after hours. The room was cramped with filthy bed spreads and room service did not ...
I stayed here for 4 nights just before the 4th of July. I had read some reviews that gave me concern. Those reviews are wrong. The place was great. I arrived early on Friday, and they checked me right into my room, no waiting even though I was there at 9:30 in the morning.
Room was nice. I was in the West Annex. Two queen beds. Nice furniture. ...

Disappointment in Mammoth!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/06
There was a string of mistakes made. The first was that they had lost our booking made in August through United Airlines. The put us in an inferior room for one night and then we had to move the next day. Fortunately, we did not trust them with our luggage because they made no effort to move it for us! It could have ended up anywhere.

They think they're the only game in town!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/06
Mammoth is a premier ski resort and the Inn's location can't be beat. That said, the rooms, though recently renovated, are more Motel than luxury and the service is often perfunctory. Particularly irksome was that when we arrived on a Thursday at 2:00 p.m. none of our rooms were ready. They say check in is 4 p.m.- but this seemed a bit ...
This was the perfect location for skiers & boarders, It is at the base of the mountain by the gondola. After a day on the mountain you can soak in one of four spa's. It was a very relaxing place to stay. The price was not too bad either, it include our lift tickets and hotel stay!!

Mammoth Resort Addict
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/05
The Mammoth Mt. Inn offers convenient ski in, ski out location in a luxurious mountain setting with gorgeous craftsman styling. The ski lift is literally steps from your room, as well as the heated pool, spa, Yoddler Bar, fine restaurant dining in hotel, and all the amenities a winter sports guru could ask for. Covered parking is available at no ...
well, you absolutely cannot beat the locale. Right at the end of the parking lot of the main lodge. This hotel is the quintissential mountain lodge. The only downside is that getting into town, for any reason, is really tough if you don't have a car. It can also be a drag to drive up the hill in the dark after a cozy meal in town. Not a short ...
