We had stayed at the Maccalum house before, so we thought this trip would be good too. However, although we booked for a private hot tub room, we couldn't use the hot tub as it was so dirty, full of soap scum and made us slimy. I reported it right away and they said they would take care of the problem the next day. Well, the next day I tried ...

Spectacular

A beautiful setting overlooking the rugged coast, flowers everywhere, full breakfast menu included, outstanding room overlooking coast. There is a variety of restaurants and shops, quality galleries, a farmers' market, bakery. A memorable visit.

After reading about the "luxurious accomodations" at the MacCallum House we decided to try it. What a disappointment! We had a damp, hot room where the toilet kept backing up. The rugs were dirty and the porch was in need of a paint job. Our seaview room actually overlooked a dirt road and a graveyard. Our room was several blocks away ...

Very ROmantic and Family friendly

Thi is a fantastic place get away weekend!! We've stayed there twice every January and always pleased with the service. We always stayed at the main house and the room with the view of the ocean. Also kids friendly. We'll try to get there again next year.

Well, after reading some good reviews here and looking at their own website, I decided this place was it!

I checked in around dark and walked past lots of dumpsters in the dirty parking lot. There were empty nursery plany containers stacked on the front lawn and planting beds. Uh-oh. I checked in and was given a map to drive to the other ...

Had heard good things about this place - our expectations were exceded...Great service, great food. Weather didn't cooperate, but that didn't matter...only bummer was that they were 1/2 late in seating us for dinner reservation

Stunning dining...superb accomodations...gracious employees

We stayed at the MacCallum House recently for a wedding and could not have been more delighted. The restaurant is first class, be sure to try the scallops and the hanger steak. We stayed in the Water Tower which was recently renovated, great sauna, tub and views. Very generous atmosphere with free beverages, wine hour and outrageous breakfast. Make sure you ask to eat on the ocean view porch.
