We enjoyed this hotel. It was clean and well maintained. Even the hand towels were folded into a fan shape. We could not hear any noise coming through the walls to the adjoining rooms, which was nice.
We purchased a special which included breakfast, but as it turned out we HAD to have the waffle special each day that we were there. We ...

Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/08
We made the reservation several months in advance. We booked two rooms. You would think they would make them connecting. They did not. The second room was for my husband's parents (who are older and one needs a little help). We also requested a refrigerator (which we were more than willing to pay extra for). After we checked in and found ...

From the moment we arrive to the moment we depart everything was great, the price was good, we show our AAA card and they give us a discount, the room was clean and colorful, the pool was really nice and warm, the people at the Amigo Restaurant was fun and the food was really good, best mexican food I ever tate. The people at the front desk always smile and they were ready for all our questions.
Thanks Kings Inn for a great weekend.

Will not go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
The 1st room we had was a king bed. The boxspring (or makeshift box spring) at the foot of the bed was broken so the bed sunk in. The room has a moldy, mildew smell. That wasn't the worst part. There was a banging coming from the walls that happened every 3 to 10 seconds. I turned on the "fan" to try to block out the noise. I ...

perfect for a romantic get away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
my husband and i went here a few years back. it was just adorable. and perfect for us (we were on strict budget). but it had a pool, spa, and restaurant so we were thrilled. it was clean and ppl were nice. also it was located in hotel circle.
I go to San Diego for business about 2X a year and I drive from Las Vegas. This is a good hotel for the price and is right off I-15.
Look, it's NOT a fancy hotel. But, if all you need is a good room in a central location, it's just about perfect. The waffle place inside is pretty affordable for a quick breakfast. I also like to have dinner at the Tickled Trout at the Ramada about 2 hotels down the street.
I found this place after leaving the Pacific Inn on Pan American Freeway. I was on business travel. This place was inexpensive in a perfect location, the room was clean but it was old. Overall, it was a great place when compared to hotels in the downtown area where the trains are running 24x7.
We stayed at the King's Inn Hotel because it was one of the cheaper places that was centrally located to everything.
The room was great. It was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint was the bathroom was very cramped. The parking was good. The parking lot was well lit and safe.
The hotel grounds were very unique. Kind of had a ...
We love the location, it's just minutes away from sea world and the zoo...so easy to get there. Everybody is sooooooo friendly, they will give directions for all the places that you would like to go. Awesome customer service. The waffle spot..you gotta try the bannana waffle..the best ever! The room was nice and clean, just the basic things ...

Second the motion... very sharp staff, Waffle Spot is fun, Front Desk was most helpful! Kids have fun in the informal layout. My only nitpick is the restuarants were nor open Monther's Day PM.
