I love the fact that when I drive up the staff all knows my wife and I and cater to all of our needs. The beds are the best the Rooms and suites are Awsome the food is perfect. The Service is better then the other Ritzs that I have stayed at. It is a Home away from Home!

Generally good rooms (although they can be a bit variable in size), nice public areas for hanging out in. Great pool, good gym and pleasant grounds. Location is a bit inconvenient - compared to the Doubletree in downtown Pasadena.

This review is a few years late. We stayed here in Dec. 2001, and had a great time. The rooms were great, with wonderful views of the grounds and the LA lights. Well-appointed and very nice bedding. We ate a great breakfast at the Terrace Cafe every morning. I would love to stay at this hotel again. Definitely lives up to the Ritz-Carlton reputation.
