The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

The rooms were way too small. We had to walk around each other. The bathroom was even smaller. The lobby and the hotel amenities were average. The decor was the only thing that saved the hotel from being a total waste of time. I would recommend this hotel as a last resort.

When I arrived at the Serrano Hotel at the begining of my stay, I was very impressed with the service I was given and it continued trough out my stay.

I will and would recommand for anyone going or staying in San Fransico to stay at the Serrano Hotel.

I like the place,excellent service, beautiful decoration, the rooms are clean, it's a lovely place, very close to business area, the one thing I am not happy is the rate.

I went with a group of women to run the Nike Marathon. Union Square is just three blocks away as are some great restaurants. We walked most of the time and felt perfectly safe. There are trolley and electric transit stops a block or two from the hotel that provided easy access to Fisherman's Wharf.

This hotel was amazing. It had free internet access in the business centre, and my favourite part, game hire. They must have had at least 40 games available for hire to play in your room. On top of that they had wine tasting every evening and even tarrot card reading in the lobby! What a great hotel!

My wife and I stayed here on the 4th of July weekend. We had never stayed here before and didn't know what to expect. At check in, the clerk challenged me to a game of 21. The stakes were a free movie if i won, and a donation by me if he won. I won and donated anyway.

We stayed at the Serrano one night when we were in the City to go to the theater. Although they were clearly busy, the staff was courteous and helpful. We asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and they juggled things a bit to make it happen.

THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN AND IN 4 STAR CONDITION. THIS IS A BOUTIQUE HOTEL, SO IT IS MUCH SMALLER THAT THE CHAINS, AND WELL WORTH THE SERVICE.
