I found this older motel to be a great value. I booked it online because it had the lowest mid-week prices for the days I was going to be there, but was even more pleased when I saw they had an online Mid-Week price which dropped the price ecen lower!

This is a good review but if you want to nitpick there is plenty to find wrong with this motel. The carpet is worn, the paint and wallpaper peeling (very minor but noticeable), and the grout in the bath is stained. The place is old. My room had an adult magazine under the phone book in the nightstand drawer. There were used tissues in the garbage can; no doubt courtesy of the magazine. The coffee pot hadn't been cleaned and smelled like stale coffee. The morning clerk did not apologize or offer any type of discount after being informed of the issues.

A good place, older, but clean and big rooms. I enjoyed staying there and I go back whenever I'm in the area. Good value for the price. (and the sunken tubs are fun) Great for swim team folks going to meets in the area of Folsom and Roseville.

Almost didn't stay here because of bad reviews on this site. But, it was a good value, clean and rooms were nicely furnished. The price was lower than any other motel in area and was very nice. Free breakfast is a plus. Very clean. Don't know if it has changed in a year, but the negative reviews on this site aren't true in March, 2005.
