I like staying here, my wife and I use it as a getaway spot (from the 3 kids). The price is a little high, but the staff is accommodating, the pool and grounds are lovely and the beds are fantastic. For out-of-towners, it is close to wonderful downtown Claremont and offers easy access to restaurants and shopping. The Spa on the property is also quite nice.

I traveled to Claremont, CA on business, and was booked into this hotel by the host of my visit.

While the appearance of the hotel and room were fine, the trouble began shortly after getting to my room. I did not have a properly functioning toilet for the entirety of my stay - that would be three days & two nights!!

I think I never slept better! It was peaceful and lovely. Something unique: My room had an chiseled-design opaque door into the bathroom (last time I experienced that was at the Princeville on Kauai) which gave a lovely feeling of serenity while in the tub! Since the renovation of the hotel and rooms, I would definitely recommend this hotel while staying in Claremont.

I was quite impressed with the Claremont Inn. My room was freshly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows.

the hotel was in bad shape. the room had wallpaper peeling and dirty drapes. the food was good though.! the pool was good. i wouldn't stay there!

While the television sets might be from that era (no remote, limited channels), the stay is anything but pleasant. Rooms are small and need refurbishing. Climate control is iffy at best. If you need to be in Claremont California, this is very convenient. You can walk to many locations. Hate to say, pretty average otherwise. But staff is helpful. Pool is fun. You won't be blown away, but it's nice.

i like the friendly staff & morning breakfast buffet. some rooms have been redone and it would be good it they could redo more rooms. hotel atmosphere is pleasant.

Good service, fair price for the community, but the place needs to upgraded and refurbished.
