During my stay at this hotel I found a wet spot in the middle of my bed. My sheets were soaked through as if someone who stayed in my room the night before WET THE BED and the maids must have just poored some cleaner over it, and made the bed. The cleaner soaked through my sheets and my bed was wet. I called to ask for a reduced rate and the best ...

Not what we expected!

If you're used to the average Sheraton Hotel's standards, you'll be greatly disappointed on this one. This may be a two star hotel, but definitely not a three star. There was no staff to help with our luggage. The room was fairly clean, but the comforter had some dirty spots on it; there was a small refrigerator, which was a plus, but, ...

Nice Hotel with Poor Quality Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/06
FOOD: The hotel restaurant serves low to moderate quality food for approximately $20 per plate. However, there is a pretty nice variety of restaurants surrounding the hotel.
ELECTRICITY: You have to insert your hotel room key into a slot in your room in order to obtain electricity. This made the otherwise nice, clean looking room, seem a bit ...
the room had a bad odor, the carpet was dirty, the sheets were stained, and the air conditioning did not work. The advertisment said the rooms were recently upgraded, but this part of the hotel was not. Not at all what we expected.
We found the room to be quite nice--the bed was very comfy and the view terrific. The staff were extremely accommodating and responsive. I do wish that they'd provide a fridge (it was a $10 extra charge that we chose to not use). I also hope that they upgrade the fitness room, where we found some of the equipment to be broken. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel, and am looking forward to going back.
We booked this hotel via Priceline.com and were surprised at how nice it is.
The hotel was really clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was big and had a gorgeous view of the harbor. The energy-saving method of having to stick your room key in the wall to turn on lights is a great idea and should be in all hotels. ...

Great location. Superior service standards. The telephone in our room did not work and there was a slight problem with the heater, the front desk sent engineers to our room. Less than 10 minutes the issues were corrected. Room, common areas and grounds were very clean.

Half of the rooms have beautiful marina view
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/04
It's a great alternative to staying in the expensive Santa Barbara vacation area - only 30 min drive from downtown SB. The rooms are huge, with a separate 'living room' area and the sleeping area, each equipped with its own TV. There's a full size pantry equipped with microwave, stoves and fridge. Bathroom has separate standing shower and bathtub.
