Granted that the employees were all hopping to serve, however the accommodation itself, in entirety, was not great just "because the magazine said so."
The cleanliness was not without uncleanliness and the location was horrid in that it looked like a run down part of time with lots of cramped concrete and asphalt underneath a sea of ...
I was a big fan of the B&B that was at this location. The Eiler's Inn. I walked by this place a couple of times before i realized were i was. It looks like a very modern commercial buisness from the outside. Maybe archetect or design studio. No sign outside. We went inside to look around. and i had to leave when i saw they had removed the ...
Any reviews positive or negative written for Eiler's Inn do not apply to Seven4one as it is under new ownership and has been remodeled a la Aliso Viejo.

Not at top tier B&B

First Impressions are so important, especially in the hospitality business. Lack of on site parking is a dilemma but I knew parking may be a problem before I made reservations. The small foyer was nicely decorated with the reception desk to the left in a small alcove. To the right was a step down large living area with cushy chairs and a dining ...

stayed one night and was fortunately able to get our money back for the next 3 days. the rooms are very tiny. you have to keep the windows open so there is no privacy-- you can hear the people in the next room talking and the "fountain" drips all night. once the wine and cheese is over at 6 00 pm the living room is locked and there is ...

Very disappointed at the way they handled double booking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/06
I booked Eiler's Inn for the only weekend my husband and I can get away in July for a little get away weekend after our wedding. We booked the night in June. 11 days later, the agency called and said that Eiler's called them and said that they have double booked the room and hubby and I will need to find another place to stay. The agency ...

My Girlfriend and I have stayed at Eilers Inn twice now, once last year and on Valantines day 2005. The rooms are beautiful, the owners make you feel so at home. The breakfasts are superb, especially the strudel, you should go just for that. Laguna is a beautiful and magical place, nowhere in the world have I seen such amazing sunsets streaming ...

Destination -- Eiler's Inn!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/05
This was a most welcoming and comfortable place for a get-together of sisters and cousins. February sun was perfect for relatives visiting from Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and New York! Special thanks to Linda and Chaz for everything. No better innkeepers will be found anywhere!

Eiler's Inn at Laguna Beach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/04
I just spent a wonderful weekend at Eilers. This was my third trip since July. I can't say enough about the ambiance, the tradition of the streudel served for breakfast, the wonderful breakfasts, happy hour with the wine and cheese and fruit, Lucy who has been with Eiler's a long time, the courtyard in the summer where the doves enjoy ...

Eiler's Inn, an excellent place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/04
Just got back from Los Angeles and stayed at the Eiler's Inn B & B for a few nights. A great B & B to stay in, got a full breakfast of Kona Coffee, sausages, eggs, fresh fruit and strudel baked that morning, sure beats toast and regular coffee for breakfast. Wine and cheese at night were nice too in the comfortable sitting room. It got a little ...
