ROOM WAS CLEAN, BUT BE CERTAIN YOU REQUEST A ROOM AWAY FROM THE TRAIN TRACKS AND FREEWAY. SWIMMING POOL IS TOO CLOSE TO FREEWAY/TRAIN TRACKS. POOL SHOULD BE IN A QUIETER LOCATION. LOCATION NOT THE BEST, AWAY FROM THE HARBOR, TOO FEW GOOD RESTAURANTS, NOT THE BEST PART OF VENTURA, BUT GOOD VALUE.

This is a clean, affordable hotel within 25 miles of Santa Barbara and walking distance of both Vetura Beach and downtown.

The room facing the freeway and train tracks was surprisingly quite. I noticed there are double pane windows which helps.
You can hear the freeway traffic from the pool area.
The room was nice and the bed excellent.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was a big plus. Nothing fancy but good and a good place. The A/C was a little weak.

I reserved two rooms via the internet. There weren't any non-smoking rooms available so I took the chance and reserved two smoking rooms. To our suprise, the rooms didn't smell at all like smoking rooms. They smelled very fresh. The rooms were immaculate. My sons stayed in one room and I stayed in the other with my daughter and ...

The hotel was very clean and precentable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If i ever come back this way i would deffinatley stay with this hotel
