Clean rooms, Very friendly staff and walking distance to park entrance. We have stayed at The Candy Cane 5 times over 2 years and it was as close to one of the Disney resorts you can get. We have stayed at two of the Disney resorts and for the money Candy Cane Inn can't be beat.

Cnady Cane Inn is JUST OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/18/09
Likes, the landscaping and the free shuttle to Disneyland.
Dislikes, the fact it is an old style MOTEL with small rooms, hardly any room to move in the room. Somewhat noisy with the parking lot and pool area in the middle section of the hotel, where your windows look out of.
The breakfast isn't much, and very crowded. They could also ...

Think twice before going again.

We have always stayed at the Candy Cane and loved it, The last time we stayed there the soap dish had mold in it and when we brought it to the front desk all they said was thank you "NO SORRIES" Will think twice the next time. The distance to Disney is great. We love to just walk so we don,t have to wait for the shuttle. If you want to it ...

Great customer service and atmosphere.

My family and I won't stay anywhere else when going to Disneyland. Last year I left a small bag behind in our room. The maids had turned it in to "lost and found", and the head of housekeeping mailed it back to me here in AZ at no charge. Rooms and grounds are always well kept.
The service was prompt at check-in and the person was friendly. Rooms clean. They have a shuttle bus that takes you to Disneyland, so you do not have to deal with parking fees or about a 10 min walk. Makes it a real delight when returning back to the hotel in the middle or at the end of the day. Continental breakfast is free for guests, and lots of food to choose from.

Great staff and service

A friend and I stayed at the Candy Cane Inn during a time when the sewer line was out. The staff was stressed but remained composed and their service was great. The room, even without water, was very nice. We loved the shuttle to and from Disneyland. Parking was easy with no extra charge. The breakfast is perfect for a quick bite and the coffee was good.

We will be back!!!!
By Stansberry, 09/13/08
A very nice place to stay. Extremely close to the front gates to walk to the Disney Parks. Reasonalby priced. Clean rooms, clean swimming pool and friendly staff. Complimentary continental breakfast nice. Not too many seats to eat inside, but you can go back to your room or sit next to the pool. Didn't use the internet so I don't know how the connection was. Bottom line for the price this was a great place to stay!!!!

I've stayed there several times. The employees were pleasant and more than courteous. The rooms were clean, and this may sound strange but smelled clean, not sterile or as if someone before me were drinking in it. The amenities were available I did not expect such as a washer and dryer. The continental breakfast was excellent, warm fresh ...

The very best place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/08
I have to say that the Candy Cane Inn is the very best place to stay. I have been to Disneyland more than I can count and hands down to Candy Cane Inn. The service is great. As long as you let them know what you want a head of time they do their very best to meet and exceed your needs and wants. I am more of a harder person to please and they can please me. :)

BEST PLACE TO STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/08
We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn in March of 2008. This was our first trip to California and we were very impressed by the friendly people who greeted us at the front desk. We found our room to be very welcoming, quite spacious and most importantly very clean. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast served each morning, the flowers and the excellent ...
