I like the room clean, pretty and close to everything.

I found Best Western in San Juan Capistrano unforgettable, because when we booked there, it was with the intention to have a romantic getaway. But we ended up not staying in much. Because our room was infested with roaches. I remembered in the middle of the night I woke up with roaches crawling underneath the covers. It was disgusting. So rest assured we won't be back!

The staff is not friendly; they messed up our reservations; we paid for 9 rooms 4 months before our stay...And they gave away one of our rooms!!! I would not EVER recommend to stay at this hotel. If you do, make sure you check, double check and triple check your reservations. The owners of this hotel do not have very good control of what goes on at ...

Place was not clean. Booked through cheaptickets for a deluxe, when we arrived, we were shown a regular room as there was no hot water in the part of the building where the delux room was located. There were cigarette holes in the blanket and the atmosphere had a general run-down feeling. There was no refrigerator and the microwave didn't seem ...

First the good:
The price was reasonable, the room was big and clean. The location is great (5 minute walk to downtown).

The VERY bad:
For all three days that we stayed there, the hotel rec center was rented out for (3 different) parties - I think one was a wedding. LOUD parties. Now, they generally ended by about 10-11 pm, but it was ...

We had made reservations over 2 weeks prior to arrival and requested a non smoking room. We got to the room and it smelled of smoke and there were ashtrays available. We called the front desk and they said they were full and nothing they could do. Left 2 messages for the manager to call us (he wasn't in when we called) and never received a call back. The room was also next to the stairway and was very noisy.

It's not often that you can get a well-kept, clean room, a certificate for Breakfast at Dennys, both freeway and Beach Close AND get to bring your dog...all for under a hundred bucks!

This has to be the best kept secret in Orange County...

Convenient to venue we were visiting. However, they offered shuttle service to the venue and when asked to provide it did not have staff readily available to accomodate our requested arrival time.

It was a great night staying there and it was very comfortable, I liked it very much.
