worst motel experience EVER

There was nothing to like. Motel was booked online for four couples andupon arrival they stated there were no reservations and thank God we had the print out from computer. They finally decided to give us rooms after saying they had one. Two of the couples got right in thier rooms and two of us did not. One couple after the third move around ...

Not a good experience...

On a positive note, the staff was helpful & friendly.
We were given a $20 credit when we checked out.

However, the room came with SPIDERS. I killed at least 25 on the walls, bathroom & on the bedspread. And the carpet was very dirty. I know this because the bottom of my socks were black.
We should not have stayed the night there ...

Having been in a Day's Inn all over the country - here is the difference - these people care - as a rule Day's Inn can be a bit scummy - not here, a large room, nice bed, more like a LaQuinta or Hamptons - - - definitely a step above other Day's Inns - no wonder they have the awards posted they do.

On arrival, Room was not equipped for the four people registered in the room. Desk clerk advised there was nothing she could do about it since she could not leave the desk. As it turned out the correct supples would have been of no value since the hot water faucet in the tub/shower did not work. At no time during our conversations with the Inn ...
