The location in town is great inspite of the train noise. Although the hotel is old, it is far from charming. Other than celebrity pictures on some of the room doors there were no stories about them or evidence that they stayed here. Our deluxe room was worn but large with a very comfortable mattress and many mirrors but only one plug. The 2x2 foot ...

The mouse was the final straw!

What a disappointment. After visiting historic hotels in Durango CO and Denver CO this was quite a let down. Started off by not being able to find a parking place, then was unpleasantly surprised at the sparseness of the room, and incredibly small towels. There were a total of 23 trains blowing their horns through out the night time hours, passing only a few hundred feet from the fourth floor where we were trying to ...
Feels like stepping back to the first half of the last century with an authentic historic feel to the rooms and lobby. The hotel offers basic rooms, nothing fancy, but it's clean and cool. If you want something more than a boring modern hotel or cheap motel, and if you like to indulge in some Hollywood history, this is the place.
