We have been coming to Gulf Shores for almost 20 years. I love the Plantation. We prefer Plantation West. I work for a hotel chain, but I would rather defer my employee rate to stay at the Plantation. I have looked at other resorts, nothing compares. When we first started coming there we had a toddler, she is now grown. We enjoy just as much as ...
We have been coming to Gulf Shores for over 10 years now and the only place we stay is at The Plantation! We love to have all the pools to choose from - never a problem getting a chair by one of them. The grounds are beautiful. If there is a downside to staying here it would just have to be how far it is to drive in if you want to eat at a ...
I can not think of anything that we disliked about Gulfshores Plantation. We had a wonderful time. The service was great! Our room was great. The children enjoyed all the swimming pools.
We have been coming to Gulf Shores Planation for probably 15 years now, and it gets better every year! I love the secluded feeling, yet we are still close to shopping, restaurants, etc... The only drawback I'd say is the staff is not all that great, and I do wish they had more restaurants, but that's it.
I love LOVE love this resort! I could go on and on about how simply wonderful this property is. Everything about it was wonderful. We will be coming back again and again.

The Plantation is a wonderful place to stay for couples or families. They have renovated and added some new features including a new pool. We have stayed here several times and continue to go back because of how nice it is. The grounds are nicely landscaped, they have a nice golf course and tennis courts, there are six or eight pools -- one of ...
We had never been to Gulf Shores before. Once we arrived, we knew we were going to love it. Gulf Shores Plantation is about 13 miles west of the city of Gulf Shores. (Which seems like a long drive, however, it's worth it!) Because it is away from the main city, the beach that was accessible from the resort was never crowded. The ...

Nice place. Friendly folks from all over. Great experience. Going again in July. A little out of the way but if I'm going that far to began with that 13 miles is nothing.

this is the most family friendly place on the entire gulf. it's not for the party set. it is secluded and safe from all of the "teenager-young adult" crowd. if you have children this is the place to go.
