Great location - close to Leidseplein (cafe's and restaurants), tram stops very close by, Rijks and VanGogh a short stroll away - terrific neighborhood. Large immaculate rooms, everything works perfectly, super nice beds - loved this hotel !!

We stay at this hotel every time we go to Amsterdam (about 10 times now. We stayed in a canal house once) It is one of the most American-like hotels in Amsterdam so if that is what you are seeking-- it's perfect. Downside: no free breakfast and it is not quaint. This hotel was great! We were very close to coffee shops and bars and only had to walk a few blocks. We felt very safe. We never even made it to the Red Light District because we had so much fun in the few blocks closest to our hotel.
