I don't recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in the beautiful city of Venice. The hotel staff; specially at the front desk; are rude and they really don't know how to deal with their clients, even if you ask to get help from their manager you'll get shocked of the way he is speaking and treating the situation. The location was great. Close to everything, yet quiet and updated. The view from the terrace is wonderful and the lounge shares this remarkable view. With the new museum opening across the canal in the old customs building next to the Salute, it should be even better.
The staff was helpful (especially during the aqua alta!) and the rooms were very well appointed. Easy access from the airport in a water taxi.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location was good...very close to St. Mark's square and to some shopping places. The rooms were very good as well as the bathrooms. We spent 65 dollars actually getting to the hotel from the train station by a water taxi...but besides that the stay was excellent and if I get a chance to come back to this beautiful city I would definitely stay at this hotel!

The hotel is very well located. Its plusses end there. Often they will put you up in an 'annexxe' which will turn out to be not their hotel but a different establishment altogether. The staff is rude and bolshy as if they are doing the guests a favour. Watch out dont fall in their trap.

I loved it...the location, the service and all that...The best thing is as soon as you exit this hotel you're surrounded by famous boutiques such as: Emilio Pucci, Bottega Veneta, GFF, and all that. You get to view a great scenary when you have breakfast, dinner, lunch, or just coffee at the hotel. You look at the gondolas and enjoy the beautiful colors. I'm definitely going to stay in the hotel when to Venice again.
