Loved the location. The room was comfy and clean.The service at the desk was most helpful in pointing out where to go and what to see and giving directions.would definetly stay there again.

The room was small, dirty and smelly. The walls were very dirty in the room and in the hallways. The bathroom was small and also dirty. We got one plastic cup for the whole stay in the bathroom. The window sill was leaking, you could see the sky through a hole. The hotel did not care. The carpets were stained and the wallpaper was falling down.
We ate of cutlery made of plastic.

This is absolutely NOT a 4 star hotel.

On our last evening in Rome, our security locker was opened and all our money was stolen. The security locker was not forced open so we had the dubious distinction of being robbed by an aristocrat among burglars. The police were naturally informed.

We arrived a bit concened about what had beed quoted about the hotel in previous reviews. The staff were very helpful and pleasent. The location is ideal with the centre of Rome only a 10 minute walk away. The facilities are very basic, but this reflects the cost of a room in a major city centre. I would consider staying there again.

On arrival,we did get a room what was very dirty!The floor,walls,sealing,toilet,bath were cleaned a few months ago!This hotel no 4 star hotel but maybe a 2 star.Breafast was very poor and hate to eat with plastic vorks and nifes!This is not normal!The so called buffet,was very very poor!We did visit this hotel for the first time and aslo the last.Never again!

Very unfriendly staff from the moment we arrived..if you must stay here, ask for an inside room away from street as it is very noisy on street side of hotel...this hotel would go for $25 night in USA...location is only good asset...

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I do quite a bit of traveling, and this place was far and away the worst. The service is extremely rude. They convieniently "lost" my party's reservation and had us stay in 2 seperate rooms for 100 euro more than the origional reservation. We arrived very late and did not have time to ...

One reason for staying at this hotel is the location.
There are no other reasons for staying at the Anglo Americano.

The breakfast was ok, but the hotel seriously needs renovation. Do not stay at this hotel, but find a better one in the surrounding area. It is expensive to find a good hotel in Rome.

The location is great, right next to the Barberini Metro station, and close to Trevi Fountain.

Lobby is nice, but as soon as you step out onto your floor things change. THe walls in the hallway is a blue plastic covering the walls and the carpet is old with stains.
