    Apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Apartments located within walking distance to shops. Pool was nice to relax by. Overall good apartment, friendly staff at a very good price.

    Would visit again but not for a whole week as ran out of things to do in Gibraltar itself.

    Ocean Heights is not a block exclusively set aside for tourists, it is an apartment block in which some flats are rented to tourists. It is common for offices to close at 3pm in Summer in Gibraltar for what is called "Summer Hours". It is at the bottom end of the accomodation in Gib but if you want to spend more look at the flats for rent ...

  • Herald Rep. has ´Better things to do than wait for your arrival´.

    Someone ought to tell their reps they are in the tourist industry.

    We booked up via e-mail for a weekend to the Herald Apartments. We couldnt arrive in Gibraltar until 5 pm on the Friday afternoon. The rep - N. told me at 1 pm:

    ´The office closes at 3 pm, and Ive been here since 9 am and I have better things to do with my time than wait ...

    I stayed at Ocean Heights for six months while I was working in Gibraltar, its true the place is slightly run down and the level of accomodation is variable.I lived in four seperate apartments during my 6 month stay and they ranged from adequate to very good.Most apartments are equipped with,bath/showerroom/toilet, cooking facilities, washing ...

    Thanks to Herald Travel, myself, elderly mum and sister had a great trip. Our apartment was luxurious no complaints whatsoever.
    Pool was clean and in brilliant condition.

    Suzette in the office was really friendly and helpful.

    Great position for Main Street and the Casemates, bus stops 5 minute walk away and the drivers very helpful and ...

    Useful to visit family, but that was it.

    Cockroaches are a problem.

    Noisy due to traffic - intensity depends on which floor you are on. No aircon.

    This is not representative of all accomodation in Gibraltar.

    i liked th doormats. but the fishy smell by th pool was disguisting the tele was good because of the satellite and the air conditioning wasrelible and nice and cool but the toilet kept blocking

    Yes, the exterior does need a facelift. But the apartment had everything and a great view of the rock. I would highly recommend these apartments, for a great value for money break you cant go wrong here. Roll on the next trip in October. We booked through Jade Travel.

    Planned to stay for 5 months but had to move out early. Didn't like sharing a bed with cockroaches. Averaged around a dozen per day in the appartment and awoke 3 times with them on me in bed.

    After reading some of the reviews of Ocean heights, it was with some trepidation that we set off to spend a week there. The apartment we rented from Jade travel was just fine, ok, the building itself is a bit "lived in" but you couldnt beat it for its central location and value for money. If we had one complaint, there is a bit of traffic noise, but i dont think there are many places in Gibraltar free from that.
