Stayed here as part of Globus escorted tour in Oct. 2007. I was traveling as a single at the time. My room was huge, contained cute ruffly curtains at window, a kitchenette, table in alcove for eating. Hotel is charming, was able to walk to train station about 25 min. away. . Garmisch-Part is a charming, delightful town. Am currently planning ...

I used American Express to guarantee my arrival, and upon arrival, presented my American Express card for check-in. Five days later, at check-out, was informed that the hotel did not accept American Express, and that I would have to pay by ...
Excellent location with just a short walk to main part of town, Food and dining facilities are excellent. Good beer served out in back area.

Location was close to everything. Nice walking trails and restaurants. The scenery was, as usual, beatiful. My kids found an old army surpus stor nearby and had a blast! 1

I have been ib this hotel several times---each stay was outstanding, and I look forward to going back in the near future. There are many thikngs to d and places to visit in this part of Germany--and this hotel makes a perfect central location. I have enjoyed driving through all the old villages and exploring the nearby mountain. I suggeat you take the cog train up Zugspitz and then the cable car to the top of the world!

Beautiful

The location of this hotel was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself was quaint and beautiful, and at night, it is lit up against the foot of the Alps, and is absolutely stunning. The hotel was typical Bavarian, and the rooms beautiful and clean; I especially enjoyed the balcony. There is an elevator in the hotel, but you still must walk up a few stairs, but the hotel is worth it.
