Rented double room 51 for 5 nights. Small but charming, a bit on the warm and dim side (we had trouble seeing into our asuitcases even with all the lights on, and we usually kept the window partly open because it was too warm EVEN with the heating turned off), and lacking in shelf space. Also, there's no shower curtain so it's a bit awkward ...

This is my 2nd time back and will return! The location is perfect. I walked everywhere and took the metro a half a block away! The Louvre is in the neighborhood as well as Jardin du Luximbourg and Ile St Louis and Ile de la Cite! Friendly service, comfortable room with a view of Montmartre- if you lean out! Central location, and near Le Petit Zinc, a great restaurant. Louvre, Bon Marche', Notre Dame within an easy walk- don't miss the St.Germain cathedral.

the hotel is well located that 's why we 'd chosen it. once you are there the hotel seems nice, the french decoration as it s called. but the rooms are very very small, and we heard all the street sound all the night. even the price was not very good. so good for location but bad for the rooms.

Service was excellent - in 1995 they translated a document for me and acted as language liason with the French tax authority.
