I've stayed here four times and never had the least complaint. The staff is the best and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. I found room pricing to be rather random (coming in off the street with no reservation was my best rate), but you have to pay for quality. Guayaquil can be sketchy, so best to play it safe here.

Likes: The chocolate-covered strawberries, the service and location. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were modern and large. Pizza Hut is downstairs/outside and McDonald's is down the street if you need a break from Ecua-food. Great location for a self-guided walking tour of the city.

Dislikes: The pool is a small spa, and the food ...

it was not big. the room was not that big at all.the pool was not that big at all too. so that why it was not that good to me at all.

Do not even hesitate to book a room here!
Friendly staff, wonderful service, clean rooms, casino, gym, privat taxis, all you can eat buffet, free doctor service etc. etc.

We decided to stay at the Hampton it was very good hotel, very reasonable, Guayaquil now days offers many top notch hotels all over town we choose the Hampton and we were not dissapoint at all, good service, spotless rooms, very nice.

However for the restaurant we do recomend the Oro Verde Hotel run by the Swiss, excellent buffet and 5 restaurants to choose from, simply the best in town.

Great place, great gym and spa, and GREAT champaign breakfast!

Everything was beautiful, clean, and the service and location was great. It is in a safe and secure location and is close to the Malecon.

The area couldn't be better is right on the downtown area, walking distance from that Magnificent Malecon 2000 the riverfront I think is OUTSTANDING I had been around and never saw something that big not even here in the US, we learn from the Ecuadorean history and the Presidents loved all the meals we loved the seafood places that we went.

This great hotel is located right on the heart of Guayaquil's business distric, a few blocks away from the main tourist attraction, this hotels has everything all at once, we loved the food, the rooms and the service.

This is the perfect location for a great hotel. Hope they keep it the same for a long time to come. Comfortable, Excellent Security, Superior Staff, Room Service Exceptional, and the Spa and Gym were the my best part! Close to Malecon and the City Park. Ideal shopping for women's clothing, shoes, and baby items surrounding the hotel. When I was there they were planning to open a casino soon.
