Having returned from a short vacation in Tobago and having stayed at the ropikist, I have decided to write a review. Thishotel has a good mixture of good, bad and not so good reviews. I guess it is from what angle you look at it. The hotel at first glance looks run down but that is the colour of the paint, it is a dull hue, they need to re-paint it ...

I took my family to the tropikist beach hotel recently for a short getaway and it was fantastic..I would recommend it to all...

I must say, and admit to this..dont believe everything you read..My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at the tropikist and I have to admit, we truly enjoyed our stay there..we did not find any cockroaches in the room, dirty beds, dirty baths etc..what we DID find was pleasant staff, friendly maids, and rooms that was cleaned everyday...we did not ...

I recently returned from staying at the Tropikist Beach Hotel, and I must say I truly enjoyed our time there, however lets be honest here,
1) The hotel is set on a lovely setting, well laid out and nice for relaxation. The pools are nice and great fun for all.

I must say i went to the tropikist with my girlfriend recently and we had a terrific time..we truly enjoyed our time there....I needed a break from work and all and we choose the tropikist..great choice! Ok here I go, lets be honest, well at least I would try to with my review, I read a number of terrible reviews on this and other websites, tripadvisor, holiday watchdog,realholidaysreports etc..
The tropikist is located next to the airport, so first of DON"T takea taxi..walk to the hotel you would save TT$35.00..yea 35 bucks..the front of ...

This hotel is located on prime property, and has an amazing view of the ocean and the western point of the island, its located next to the airport,so please dont hire a taxi, just walk. The entrance of the hotel is poorley kept and needs a facelift..well actually the entire hotel needs a face lift..The reception staff was ok, seems a bit lazy, well ...

To begin with I must admit the location of this hotel is superb, if the hotel was anything like it's location it would have been a first class hotel, well I guess this is up to the management of this place..now on to the review...
