There was a fire in the hotel, which makes me uncomfortable about safety. Location is great, but there are plenty of options in Playa.

I've been returning to the Blue Parrot since 2000.It use to be a good price/value, not anymore.

Beautiful setting, scuba with Dave at the Abyss excellent, fun/trendy bar.

Get real Blue Parrot. Get back to the basics of a good product at good price. Then I'd love to return. Great location close to 5th Ave. and the beach. No need for a car, safe friendly part of town.

Don't let the hotel's reputation as the hottest party spot in town put you off: the rooms are all located far enough from the bar that you won't hear a thing. Most rooms have balconies with hammocks and ocean views, its just a few yards to the gorgeous white sand beach. Location is tops, by the beach and only a block from the main drag.

Rooms are a nice size with modest utilities. Very clean. And yes, the bar was great!

I loved this place I had the best vacation by far! I have been all over the carribean and this is my favorite place! I cant wait to make it back to the blue parrot

We loved the Blue Parrot due to it's central location to town. It was also clearly the "it" spot to be in town. The bar is always full of folks at any time of day. The breakfast that comes with the room was perfect and served right on the beach. We went there with our 1 year old, but really it is more of an adult place due to the noise level. The location can't be beat for the price, we'd love to return.
