Don't count on the hotel answering your emails promptly from management to front desk. It's not a server problem. It took me almost one week before they answered me. I've yet to get a reply from my last email inquiry. Very poor service in this regard. They ought to ditch their email address and just use phone if that's the only means they require to reach them.

I stayed at the Clarendon in August of 2006. I searched online for a convenient hotel that was nice and in my price range. I was thrilled to find the Clarendon. It's the oldest hotel in the walled city and it's beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is perfectly located; has great service; lovely dining room with wonderful food; cozy bar; free high-speed internet in your room. Just remember that the rooms in this type hotel are small! We would absolutely stay there again!

It is an older hotel that has been beautifully maintained. The location is fabulous, with stores and restaurants a few feet away. I've stayed there twice and am planning on going back again this year!

A somewhat old world charm, efficient, friendly, helpful staff. Free in-room wireless and central location. The food is good as well and the bar has a good selection of draught beers.

Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/06
This place was in a great location. You can walk to all the highpoints of the Vieux Ville. Many restaurants and shops across the street. Parking is $14 dollars a day and you can walk underground to the hotel which is a big bonus in Winter. The hotel offers great views of the city also. It has retained enough of its older style but has been remodeled to make it more comfortable for todays travel. Couldnt have asked for anything more.

Would highly recommend!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/06
We highly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Clarendon. Its location is fantastic. It is right in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms were a little small but were clean and nicely furnished. The service was good and we really enjoyed the jazz bar. Overall this hotel is a good value for anyone staying in Quebec.
