They didn't clean the room properly before I checked in. The previous night's guest's trash was scattered across the desk, and there were hairs in the sheets, which, to me, indicates that the sheets were not even changed. It made me cringe.

Other reviewers have commented on the location, friendliness, service and gym/pool facilities and we agree with all the positives expressed. Loved being close to the hub of Vancouver but also enjoyed the peaceful aspects of this hotel. No room service was a downside but we managed without and enjoyed eating in the downstairs restaurant and also venturing along Robson Steet to eat.

As far as location goes, this hotel is one of the best in Vancouver's Downtown. You can easily and quickly access the beach/harbor on either side, the famous and majestic Stanley Park is about a 15 minute walk away, and all the shopping and dining is literally at your fingertips. The staff was very polite and genuinely helpful and the hotel is in an area of Vancouver that we like a lot. The view is outstanding.

The location of this hotel is the best! My daughter and I were able to walk everywhere in Vancouver (left our car at the hotel). It is right down the street from Stanley Park which is a must. Plus, it is in the heart of the Robson Street shopping. It is a hopping area even after the stores close.
