Its cool that the hotel is built on a pier but you only know that if you agree to pay an extra 50$ per night (if u v booked on priceline) to get a water facing room. There is not much of a common area, no pool, no spa, no nothing (no basic stuff u d expect at a 4 star hotel). Over all the interior feels like you are in an old cruise ship. The ...

DUMP! SMELLS LIKE A DUMP!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/06/09
IT IS OUTDATED PLACE, SMELLS LIKE MOLD, AND RIGHT NEXT TO TRAIN TRACKS AND FREEWAY. YOU CAN'T SLEEP THERE, OVERPRICES PARKING OF $30 AND MUST BE VALLEY. THEY TAKE YOUR CAR AND PARK IT ON THE LOT RIGHT WHERE YOU CAME OUT. CHARGE YOU $30 FOR THAT. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A 2 STAR - NOT 4!!!! IT WILL BE THE SMALLEST 4 STAR ROOM YOU EVER SEE.
If you love being by the water, AND close to all of the downtown attractions...this is the place. We stayed 3 nights in a water front room before heading to Canada and it was marvelous!!! We kept the curtains open the entire time and watched the boats go by all hours of the night and day. We even fed about 30 seagulls from the window every ...
My wife and I held our wedding at the Edgewater Hotel (Seattle) September of 2008 and were unpleasantly surprised when we got back from our honeymoon and found out that our final bill was almost 30% (over $4,600) higher than the final estimated we received just days prior to the wedding. When we met with our sales representative and her manager we ...
This is a great hotel. The balcony is intimate, private, and on the water. We sat on the balcony and fed the seagulls - very nice. We stayed during the holiday season and were greeted with hot apple cider after our long adventurous days in Seattle. Short walks to tourist attractions. The food was excellent and the staff was pleasant/

Stayed one night there, rooms were very small, cute and someone classy, waking up to the pigeons at 430am, didnt like that. Service nothing to brag about, they did nothing out of the ordinary, didnt even bring our bags up to the room...
The wood used on the inside and out of the hotel gives me the feel that i'm at a lodge. the view from the rooms are great. you either get the ocean or city view. I chose the city view so I could see the Needle Tower from my window. This is the only hotel on the waterfront, and is within 10 blocks from the Needle Tower, Pike Place, and the ...
It's a must to stay at the waterfront side rather than the city side or else it's a waste of money. I originally booked the cheapest room. But for $50 more I could have a room that faces the water, twice the size, and a king bed instead of a queen. The water view was truly breathtaking.
The hotel and room has an Abercrombie feel, and was ...

LOVE the view and decor. The breakfast was to die for. The location is perfect for catching the ferry to downtown Victoria. The rooms are warm and romantic. A true treat to stay at the Edgewater!
