I stayed at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel for one night while visiting Thomas Jefferson's home in Charlottesville. The Omni Charlottesville Hotel was simply amazing. Its location, which was my main reason for staying here, was great, and so was the hotel itself. The lobby is nice, with tons of greenery and places to sit. Rooms are average, but could use new bedding. We got stuck in the elevator due to a power outage, but within 3 minutes were in the lobby area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Charlottesville area.

I knew I was in trouble when the front desk snarled at me during check-in. I then found pubic hairs in the bed, someone's old smelly clothes in the closet and cigar ashes everywhere. To top it off, my TV didn't work. When I tried to call the front desk for some assistance, they didn't answer. My advise, stay at a "flea-bag" hotel, at least your only paying what its worth.

Took a friend there for breakfast one morning and we were shocked by the prices, was served poorly and received little satisfaction when talking about it with management. I'll never go there again.

The Omni in Charlottesville is over-priced for the amenities and service offered. Don't assume breakfast with your room, nor customer satisfaction if you bring the matter to the frontdesk.
