We had no choice but to take a smoking room. Never again. This room smelled so bad. The carpet was very dirty. I did not feel this room was clean. I have to admit however the bed was clean. Everyone was so friendly and accomadating. The room was nice and confortable. We took our dog with us and the hotel has walking area with container to dispose any dropings. Food very good. Fantastic breakfast bar. Friendly servers and staff. Elevators fast. Someone to assist at all hours. Good directions. Everyone acts like they enjoy their work and are proud of their hotel.

We asked for a non-smoking room, and the room was designated as such. However, it smelled of smoke and was very musty. There was mold in the shower area and on the curtains in the main room. The carpet and the bathroom floor were also very dirty. The pool was OK and staff was nice enough, and the proximity to Monticello and downtown ...

When we were moving across country with our two pets, we needed a place to stay where our cat and dog would be welcome and that was the Holiday Inn. We were put in a room at the end of the hall to keep hallway noise to a minimum (so the pup wouldn't bark) and there was plenty of grass around for walking him after driving in the car.

Well located for places I visit in immediate area. Curtious staff. Friendly atmosphere.
