We stopped here for the night after a long day of travel and touring Monticello and UVA grounds. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the indoor pool -- very large and very clean. Breakfast was hearty, hot and good. We would certainly stay here again.

I stay at the English Inn whenever I go to Charlottesville. The customer service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the location is close to whereever you need to be in the area. They are also a great place to schedule business meetings.

Great location. Small, comfortable and quiet hotel. Clean and welcoming. Staff is very nice and the breakfast buffet was a great value.

What an amazing place to stay. It was a hot and humid day and we were looking for a place to cool off and relax. We planned to stay for one night and ended up staying for three! The staff was very helpful, providing us with places to see and places to eat. I can't recommend this Inn enough. We will return.

We liked everthing. The room & bathroon was neat, clean and a nice size. We enjoyed the pool and exercise room. Everyone was very nice to work with. The breakfast was a bonus. We would definately stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the English Inn. This quaint hotel surpassed by expectations. The staff is friendly, the location is ideal and the place was extremely clean. The lobby area with the fireplace and lounging area is extremely inviting. I will be in Charlottesville often for business and will not be looking to stay anywhere else. The English Inn has my business.

The English Inn has everything you'd want it, yet it's price is much more reasonable than its chain competitors. Very clean and well-maintained, cheerful and friendly, conveniently located and amazingly quiet. We'll definitely stay here again!

Barracks Road shopping.

The heated pool is huge!
