OMG...not good...Well my father used to work there and I thought that maybe the room he went to was just a bad room, but when I got there it was...well let me describe it. I walked in and there was a funny smell and i thought that maybe the maid was just here, its cool. I went to the bathroom after i dropped my things on the bed and a tile fell. we can't wait to go backI really enjoyed staying at the renaissance when hurricane ike came into louisana. I felt safe there and the management were just awesome. Everyone there fell in love with our weiner dogs and they too had a blast. The fountain out front at night is just totally awesome.Made a lot of friends including the staff. take care and keep up the good work1 of 1 Yahoo! CONSISTANTLY FABULOUS!!!We stay here every year for our Annual Mary Kay Seminar! Service is superb! They deliver our bags to our room, have lemonade in the lobby and go out of their way to accomodate us! They schedule Shuttles, arrange for Pizza delivery....pretty much anything we want. AWESOME!The hotel rooms are awesome! The beds have the fluffy pillow tops and are so comfortable. The staff is always curtious and most of them still there every time I stay. WE WILL NEVER GO BACKI can't even describe this place with words....I was soooo disappointed. When the regular hotel that we go to was booked, we saw this hotel, and assumed because of the reviews, that it would be a great option. Great PlaceThe meeting rooms were very nice and the chairs were comfortable. The beds had those thick pillow top mattresses on them and at the end of a busy day you could sit in the jacuzzi and jump in that bed at it is "on and poppin" When up on the observation deck you can see most of Dallas and that was nice4 of 5 Yahoo! Poor Customer CareThis hotel was unable to honor my confirmed reservation and has yet to honor their advertised "Reservation Guarantee" they offer to their frequent stay guests. I have tried numerous times to resolve this with their customer care dept and it still is unresolved. I was told the GM of the property would contact me but to this date I can't get a return phone call. I highly recomend you find another hotel chain besides Marriott.1 of 5 Yahoo!
