This is the dirtiest and most run-down motel I have stayed in. There was black mold creeping up the tile grout in the shower. The ceiling had been patched, poorly. we just had our wedding dance there and everything was just the way we wanted, and the service was great. We also stayed the night and thought the rooms were really great. Thats why i do not understand some of the other comments made by other people. We would tell other people to stay there.

The thing I found convusing about the other reviews is the cleanleness. Our room was very clean, with good bedding we had a nice stay. We will stay again.
We used one of the free computer stations in the main lobby and had a nice Free breakfest.

What I liked best about this place was when I could finally leave! My blanket had a monstrous hole in it. There was food remnents on the floor. The dog in the next room was not kept at bay.

Please, just sleep in your vehicle! There are many other wonderful places to stay in Brookings such as on a park bench, a stranger's driveway, the police station. There is also a great Holiday Inn Express just across the highway. If you are concerned about your health, this isn't the hotel for you.

We enjoy the kiddie pool where the preschoolers can play in the water without being held the entire time.

The service has always been great, and they even let us swim after hours when we arrived late.

Went for a family reunion. Found gabage under the bed. My in-laws encountered things ranging from what looked like kitty litter under the sink and cole slaw left behind in a fridge, to a "non-smoking" room that reeked horribly of cigarette smoke.
