We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn. Clean and decent room was better than what we expected...Best of all was the beautiful setting on the beach! Dining at the restaurants in the resort was also good. On the down side, one of two elevators was not working most of the time and the bathroom was not great and the floor was slippery. But, we will definitely ...
From looking at the webpage you'd think this is five star kinda place...Not. This is a 2 star hotel charging 5 Star prices. Being on the beach in Charleston, SC is great but the Boardwalk Inn and the staff leave much to be desired. The appearance of the Inn was a little rundown. When you pay $300 a night you expect big things. Not slow ...
This place is awesome! If you are ever in Charleston, SC (or are thinking about going to Myrtle Beach), stay at Wild Dunes. Charleston is non-touristy, but has a million things to do. Wild Dunes is a luxury resort that isn't crazy pricy. There is a beach that only people that stay at Wild Dunes use so it's not packed. There are ...

My fiance and I were engaged here and it was lovely. We had a great room at a great price and the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend this resort. The only down side, is it is a little far from Charleston, but if you have a car, it is easy enough to get there. It is also great to drive around the islands and check out the East coast beach life.

THe service was A++. I felt welcome at this hotel and they called me by name. Everyone spoke english! The food was top notch. The location was remote enough to offer a peaceful stay but only 15 minutes from Charleston. I highly recommend this hotel to all.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

We found Isle of Palms after going once to Myrtle Beach - maybe we went to the wrong part but we did not care for it. Pools and beach convenient to Boardwalk Hotel. Bellboys more than helpful. Close to Charleston for great food and sites. Clean, reasonable pool side food for kids and very family friendly resort but Inn is nice for couples as well and golf pro was very patient with us - we had never golfed before. We plan to visit often.
We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn, and the facility was clean if a bit sterile, while the overall island setting was beautiful. The big disappointment was the service. We arrived earlier than anticipated and called ahead to see if our room could be ready early, they said it probably wouldn't be a problem. We got there 30 minutes before check in ...
