We plan to go backWe have stayed here several times and love it. It is centrally located and the ambiance is wonderful. We love the afternoon wine and cheese time when you meet other guests. Perfect for what we neededThe location was great - we were in town for a wedding around the corner, so we were able to walk there. We were able to walk pretty much anywhere you'd want to go Downtown, depending on the weather of course. The rooms are a little small, but this hotel is one of the best deals Downtown. Buyer bewareFrom the outside The Elliott House appeared to be the same lovely place we had experienced over the years. Sure they played games with the rates, advertising quite value prices and then quoting high prices, but we excused that thinking perhaps they had invested in upgrading the rooms. Not the case!
