We enjoyed our stay 2 summers ago and are going to go again. It's a great place to meet up with friends and the restaurants are nice. Staff is FANTASTIC, practically bent over backwards to please! The beds live up to their name "heavenly"-- it's well worth the money!
The Westin is a really nice hotel, but dont pay high end rates. It needs a little updating. Also, Pittsburgh does not have a big downtown, but its not tiny either. The Westin is in the NW corner. If your business is on Grant Street or you are headed to the convention center, its great. But if you are nearer to the "point," etc., ...
Friendly staff; helpful service; clean; spacious rooms; fabulous views; convenient location; and simply a great overall package. I accidentally left my wallet and a few other valuables behind in the room safe. I called, they retrieved and had everything waiting for me at the front desk when I returned - - and graciously at that.
I must say the overall stay was very enjoyable. The rooms were a perfect size, housekeeping up to par and front desk staff were very pleasant. My only complaint was the limited room service menu after 10:55 pm. I will return to this Westin if ever in Pittsburgh again.
The hotel was wonderful. The personnel are eager to please, from check in to the parking staff. I also enjoyed the restaurants. My only regret was that I could not stay longer.
We have stayed their many times, and love the heavenly beds, showers, and all the detail that they have gone to make our stay a very memorable one. I will not stay anywhere else.
