Bad Service, Rude Staff, Rooms don't match description

We really enjoyed our stay. Room on third floor had a great view. Staff was very nice and breakfast was delicious. We really like the cookies freshly baked each evening! We would love to come back and stay a lot longer. Very clean and comfortable. A little pricey, but we were on vacation, so why not! It was quite chilly to us. We are from Florida and had to wear several layers at all times. We also enjoyed having casino close by.

Made reservation late Sunday night for the following Tuesday . Called early Monday to cancel reservation because I was snowed in with more snow coming monday night. Was told I was charged $25.00 to cancel. I would recommend not booking this hotel in winter weather.

This was a nice, older hotel with contemporary updates (and good beach access). Beware if booking on line. The internet prices listed do not tell you that your room will cost $50 more each night if you want a balcony instead of a patio. I always book on line and had never run into this practice before. Over the phone I was treated rudely by someone claiming to be the General Manager. I complained to the Best Western Corporate offices. I will never stay there again

We are from Portland, Oregon, and reserved this hotel, for the 25 July. 24 hours before our arrival, we cancelled the reservation, because of a child's health problem.
After several discussions, with the manager, Brian, he refused the cancellation and we were charged $269.

My car Town & country had the entire side door left open & it was full of furniture, misc. Not one thing was disturbed. What can I say, I felt so safe!
Nathan was awesome, excellent outstanding, he deserves a good star and a raise! Mateo was outstanding, breakfast was excellant, fabulous!

My son left his chain and cross in a bag my mom thought was garbage. I called the front desk an hour after we checked out to see if they had cleaned our room yet, the gentleman said no I explained what happened he called the housekeeper, she looked but couldn't find the necklace, so he told me to call back in the morning.
