The Lodge is closed and it looks like it should be torn down.
The whole park is a dump from top to bottom. The golf course is an overgrown field,the swimming area is a muddy bank, the Catfish Bay marina has an open air bar that blares live music until 2AM. STAY AWAY. Go to one of the Corp Campgrounds or drive 20 minutes to Lake Murray.

We chose the cabins rather than the lodge, thinking "you get what you pay for". Our first problem was the check-in. If you are AT ALL concerned about cleanliness, this is not the place for you! We had a family reunion there, and many of us had to go to the nearest Wal-Mart for sheets and towels. This "lodge" is a total disgrace. In our room the ceiling was falling down, carpet was filthy and there was mold growing in the shower. We would rather tent camp than spend another night in the "lodge".
