I understand that this property is under new management and ownership.
One can really see the difference! The menu has changed with many more selections and and what a chef they have!!! You will definitely NOT be disappointed. The staff is wonderful with that great southern charm and style. My family and I will most assuradley be back, and will recommend this fine hotel to our friends and family.

Mike Stamey was fired from Maggie Valley for messing up the course, and now he is going to be starting as the superintendent for the Waynesvilel Country Club in the spring. He's going to ruin this one too. I was just there and it looks like it needs a REAL turfgrass management system. It is so sad to see it go under. The only reason he was hired is because he went to school with the owners.

I thought the mountain views were beautiful, but you can go to Maggie and get those. The course itself is not how I remember it.
